Lebanon CACM is a nonprofit organization that aims to contribute to anti-corruption activities in Lebanon in a professional and organized manner. Increasing awareness about corruption and its related damages to the economy and society as a whole is the main objective of the CACMs. They mostly thrive on initiating and executing prevention measures to minimize corruption and deter public officials, decision makers, and citizens from engaging in corrupt acts.

Services

We contribute to the knowledge of the public about corruption and the ways to defeat it. We promote awareness about the principles of anti-corruption that are promulgated by The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI). They are:

1. The pervasiveness of the rule of law
2. Effective internal control
3. Effective and good governance
4. Independent and effective judiciary
5. Authority and associated accountability
6. Investment in corruption prevention
7. Quantification of corruption exposure
8. Certainty of punishment
9. No statute of limitations
10. Rewarding corruption fighters

We develop specific ways to stop corruption in distinct public and private sector entities. We design internal control systems that help prevent, deter, and detect fraudulent, corrupt, or noncompliant acts.

We assist in properly documenting relevant criminal evidence of suspected corrupt acts in Lebanon.

Also, we suggest articles to improve on current or proposed laws concerned with preventing corruption and prosecuting related cases to ensure equitable penalty for corruption and fraud crimes.

We provide training and public speaking in all areas of our services as well as basics of anti-corruption such as integrity, professional ethics, professional compliance with international standards, internal control, and governance.

LCACM advises public and private sectors on anti-corruption strategies, laws, investigation, and litigation support.
